At Su Casa Handyman, we recently completed a project that involved replacing the flooring in a side entrance. We removed the old carpet from the landing and two steps leading up to the main floor and secured the carpet at the top riser of the stairs leading down to the basement. Our team then installed laminate flooring on the landing and Cap A Tread or similar laminate stair treads and risers on the two steps. We also installed laminate bullnose trim at two steps, a laminate riser at the top step, and painted baseboards around the landing. The trim at the door threshold was also replaced, and we sourced parts to closely match the existing laminate on the main floor.
